Yesterday was the Ethical Fashion Show. It was fantastic! It excites me to see the movement of eco-friendly/ethical fashion taking place in the world's fashion capital. As a design student at UC Davis, my design consciousness already takes in account eco-friendliness and ethics. It was great to feel the same excitement and passion from other distributors outside of California. For instance, Pachacuti is a Fair trade clothing, accessories and panama hats company that exports from the Andes. (I bought a really cool belt from them!)
One of the brands even teaches techniques to local University students (in Europe) and then distributes the students products for them. LoVE It!
